Virus and Trojan Protection Package

Author: You need constant protection to prevent viruses and trojans from entering your PC. If you lose even a day as a result of a virus, your home business will suffer. Your Internet provider may say they have given you firewalls and various protections but I believe in independent solutions. In my experience these are the best ones around, and the good news is – they are free
1) Firewall – Zonealarm
2) Antivirus – AVG
3) Antispyware – Spybot Search and Destroy
4) Antispyware -Ad-Aware
AVG gives protection against viruses. Zonealarm (ZA) is an added layer of protection. If anything nasty does get onto your computer, ZA will prevent it from communicating with the outside world. Finally, there’s no harm in having more than one spyware detector – you can use both SpyBot and AdAware as they find more things between them than just one program individually.
