Power set

Author: I have to confess that I cannot get excited over all the various features of a TV set in the way that the guys can do. I was amazed at the way my partner was able to recite all the different technologies used by the major manufacturers, and tell me which ones had been trademarked. With the introduction of HD flatscreen sets the specifications seem to get more and more complex. Also with the need to save energy I have found out that certain models will stay on standby unless you go to the wall socket and unplug them, whereas others have a normal on off switch. That gets my vote, and I have also come round to the idea that these new televisions need to be larger than before. So we are now looking at a
pioneer 50 inch LCD that looks suitable for our needs.
