In my recent experiences of moving house I have taken a much different attitude to possessions and I de-clutter wherever I can.  In the latest move for my Mother the washing machine was the only heavy item that went with her.  The rest stayed behind and we ordered new replacements for the new house.  In my next house which I am buying at present,  the seller is leaving a number of major kitchen appliances and I am paying her for them.  She likes Bosch Washing Machines which is good news for me.  I will have the washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer already installed when I arrive .  That is definitely worth paying for.
