Did I tell you about my disastrous venture into beauty ebooks? I spent hours packaging the ebook, writing the sales page, setting up the Paypal button, and then we sat back and waited. Plenty of visitors but no sales. Then, finally a lady bought the book. Guess what? The download page did not work. Cue angry emails from customer, time consuming correspondence and apologies. The problem is, we were trying to piece everything together and there was no way to do a dry run without actually buying a copy! Now we are looking at shopping cart software for the next time, they have done all the hard work and testing for you: all you need to do is add your product and away you go …..
