I have not got the most tech aware mindset in the world and I realise that dealing with hardware connections or software installations usually turns into a nightmare because most of us do it very rarely. My other excuse is that I was working in a large organisation and for the last couple of years there was a reliable help desk, where I could simply ring up and say ‘I need help with my HDMI cables, and it would all be done for me.
